Somerville Diaper Drive

We’re very happy to report that our First Annual Somerville Diaper was a huge success! Here are Aimee and Kerstin in Aimee’s basement with just some of the 13,166 diapers we collected! Aimee has been dropping them off at the Somerville WIC office, and they are already being distributed to families in need.

Thank you SO much to everyone who donated diapers or funds to purchase diapers!!  

And a big thank you to the businesses who let us have drop off boxes in their stores, including Two Little Monkeys, Stellbella Toys, the Somerville Public Library branches, Babies R Us, and several Somerville daycares. 

Thanks so much to the Somerville Moms who collected diapers at our drop off locations including Kim, Jen, Alisha, Tree, Liz, Maria, and Ligia. Thanks to Kristen for designing our website header and promotional materials.

And finally, thanks to Rebecca and everyone at the Somerville WIC office for distributing the diapers!  

We couldn’t have done this without you! We plan to make this an annual event, so we’ll be back next year!!
